Our project below is an interior design for a Personal Yoga Brand- An Yoga. The original space is located in the top floor of a four-storey townhouse. The challenge is to create an inspirational space for yoga practitioners, along with the low budget of the client.
We provide a private space for maximum 8 peoples with the inspirational and friendly atmosphere, as well as natural ventilation, without air conditioners. For us, expressing the spirit of the brand is the key factor for the project.
“It would be great to enjoy a yoga class in an attic – a relaxing place that reminds us of a friend’s house every morning and evening”. From that spirit of An Yoga, along with a little amount of inspiration from the gentle curves of the logo, we imagined in our head an interesting attic with the amazing reflection created by repeating throughout the space with the smoothly curves from the ceiling till the bottom line of the wall. Another interesting point: by taking the advantages of the large glass panels on the remaining wall, the mirror effect creates a more spacious feeling with the two full parts of the roof.
In term of material selection, we carefully applied the yin-yang tiles in a new and particularly impressive use for the interior design. Yin- Yang tiles are widely used in traditional Vietnamese architecture; we created our new space in a new way: the combination between familiar traditional feeling and the unique brand identity. As a local material, these tiles have numerous advantages such as sound insulation, warm colors, rustic style, lightweight profile and always available with affordable price.
